@Yamiko Hyunie He bottom does love both of them but in very different ways. His love for the brother of the emperor is like a lake, smooth and calm waters. The brother fell in love with him much sooner when he was still young but never made a move on him since he was so young and because of his nature. But he has a deep and passionate feeling toward him, so much so that once his love is finally shown, he tries to save him in every way he can... The Emperor is like the Ocean and came as a storm to his life. He absolutely didn't care about his feelings (as a matter of fact, he doesn't care about anyone) and he kills whoever to get what he wants. But, he fell in love so DESESPERATLY with him that he went into a crazy state and he will do anything to have him, in whatever state of mind he may be, as long as he is by his side. The bottom is battling his emotions all the time. He loves the Emperor but knows what he did to his mom. It is really dramatic indeed. And I love it. I really recommend it reading the book because it's awesome and I think you can really understand all these turmoil..
