I don't he does those things deliberately so that they would be needy to him. (Although, I think it's kinda unavoidable since he's really a dependable person, tbh, so I guess they can't help it.) I think it's just the kind of love language/relationship/dynamic he learned throughout his life/relationship with others. Being able to provide and be needed is what he knows, good at, and satisfies him (and to his partner). I think, for now, the words he said "he won't and can't give the love they're looking for" (Correct me if I'm wrong) can unconsciously(?) changed throughout his relationship with Namwoo, I mean I hope soo~~! ??????
