can someone explain why so many people don't like romance in manga/manhwa I see a lot of comments saying romance is bad bud I just don't get it

They just don't get bit**** irl so they cry when fictional characters get girls that's all.
Coz sometimes it becomes a hindrance to the mc's growth or the progress of the story. Romance is good when it's justified by the author
because usually the chick is one of a few things:
massively fuc**** annoying,
pretentious,
useless,
obstructive,
greedy,
or intensely needy/clingy.
if shes any one of those things, i want her to die the entire time shes in the story.
@Rhu I think obstructive and greedy are okay as long as she is like secretly the big bad and is trying to destroy him from the inside. It doesn't happen often though
