@Chesa there is plenty of stories out there with both good plot and nice MCs. As for this story, however, the plot is different, sure, but what is the point if you can pretty much take this MC and 100 others from same genre and besides the character design see no difference? Literally a shallow self-insert at best, it is bizarre to me how these writers write women considering the stories are for us in the first place. And if we do get a female character who is different and has more agency over her own life the story ends up mellowing her down to this same character. It really doesn't irritate you that they represent women like this, submissive and easy to be coarced by men with mistresses and pitiful bastardized children as a byproduct, who are then also villanized by the author? That cheating piece of trash is even on the story cover, and he is already a walking commercial for an std.

As you said, it's your opinion and I respect it, but come on, I think we deserve better things to read.
