@lincoln What your saying in your bio is wrong. Not all girls/women that read bl are fetishers. You can't just put all the women that read this stuff under one category.
@lincoln No! I am reading this because I like seeing how relationships progress no matter the gender. Maybe once you get out of your fuc**** bubble you would see that. Funny how a child has more common sense than an adult🙄
@lincoln 'Bl obsessed' means I love the genre and majority of the bl books I read don't have sm** in them. Yes alot of 'Fujoshis' are in fact fetishers but not ALL of us are. The dictionary term for fetish or fethisism is "a form of sexual behavior in which gratification is strongly linked to a particular object or activity or a part of the body other than the sexual organs" or "excessive and irrational devotion or commitment to a particular thing:" Yes as my name says I'm obsessed but I wouldn't say I'm not irstionally devoted. Bl helped through a tough time, every time I wanted to give up and just end it it would cheer me up. But I will not be called a fetisher because of this.
@lincoln but you do know that most BL's writers and consumers are women right ? Even tho we have a lot of problematic theme (grape for example), there are still a lot of fluff and wholesome.

And as to why, most are women, it's because they can detached from the story and see it as a spectator only, so that they don't feel concerned.
And yes. There are a lot who hate the problematic stuff, and as to why they are still reading those ... it's because they wait for a redemption. They are waiting for mc to get out of this situation, by themselves and they will cry about it if MC stay in this toxic relationship.
A lot of woman like myself, only read for the progression of the story, and/or to be mad at someone (mostly ML, he's always a piece of sh**).. or for just the fluff in the story, to cry (yes again) about how it's just cute and wholesome and would love to have this type of relationship (That why some of them, only read the wholesome part of BL).
And like mostly, some of them just got tired of BxG romance, with a big guy and the damsel in distressed. And so we compare ourselves and tell ourselves that we could be better. Which reference to the fact that we don't feel concern in BxB romance and enjoy like a film or spectacle.
Like is it bad for us to like LGBT film then ?
Side note: The moment I saw this chapter I knew what it was about and deleted it from my watchlist, so yeah, not everyone like this kind of stuff.

@lincoln and I'm not. To resume I just said some women watch only the soft/wholedome part BL webtoons, just as confort zone. And mostly watch it as spectator, not wanting to be part of it.
So it's disrespectful and rude to generalize a bunch when not everyone are the same.

Kind of ironic when you wrote a novel as to why women are fetishes to BL. So you could have the decency to read but anyway.
And a note. BL are mostly written by women for women... So yeah, kind of hypocritical.
