I think ugetsu has so much influence in mafuyu. somehow the way he thinks comes to be the same way mafuyu thinks later, but mafuyu knows how to deal with it because he's young and knows what it's like losing someone, aside from not understanding his feeling very well, but he wants to. ugetsu has already experienced so many things and his heart and feeling are so big, it's impossible for anyone to like him more than he likes the person, so he chooses music, becuz it's the thing he loves the most in this life and it will always be a source of happiness or comfort for him.
