So… basically if Raon didn't had the skills he worked so hard to attain he'd be now facing certain doom. And one would expect that he'd be learning important stuff from those there the longest, but instead he's the one handing out the lessons. Something tells me he'll be the one coming up with the plan to defend the castle as well. And if that happens then what's even the point of him being there.

@Grey5kull experience in real battle not only in fight but leading ppl, come with battle plan/strategy in heat of battle under presure, quick decision making depending on change situation, controll battlefield and ppl on it as "comander", leading ppl (as future family head) and rise their morale in dire situation... Teaching other/showing path is part of future head "skill"... Where else can you learn this stuf and master them in real events...
So thats all the point of him being there because its no better place to learn and check it in real events...

And as future family head if you will have "episod" in your pages smt like "as young he was inn the worst place in our familly land and activly protected other of us".... Everyone who will fight with Roan about this position should have some similar achivments or catch up with service in this important place for family but to late for making "allies"/support from this fraction, Roan will be "their favorites" to support-.-'
