The g.ods are as confused as the demons and humans are regarding the MC. I think it's fair to say that the MC is just as foreign to that world as the demons are. It's likely that he's also immortal but he's so strong that it hasn't come up yet.

@Prinzinc The author is confused as well! he saved the marchent girl then leave the north but it suddenly isnt right after but 5 years later! then now after few weeks passes the timeline changes and he did his final quest "1 year ago"...
@SoZe it took him 5 years from meeting that girl to finishing his quest, then the things happening right now are around a year after MC started his final quest and left the white snowfield
