Comment on ChapterReverse Thinking - Chapter 8
i actually loved this scene but not for weird reasons guys. it was maybe the most realistic ra** scene i've read in a manhwa, where mc was going on about the pain, disgust, fear, humiliation, and general hatred of the situation. i understand those who can't handle it but i actually find this really interesting and enjoyable from a literary standpoint. it's rare to see something that is both very intense AND very well-written.

@Muji i dont see how its well written? Just imagine how you would feel if someone did that to you literally ripping your hole and punching you multiple times till you bleed. The mc was literally continuing yelling at him and punching even tho he got threatened multiple times and after getting hurt he continued being aggressive, plus a normal person would call the fuc**** police and break the other's person phone. Who the he** deals with a r@pist alone, just say you enjoy this without making any excus
@Haru that's your perspective. Perhaps if you were in this situation you would act differently, but you have to understand that, in blackmail situations especially, but really ANY abusive relationship, people will act very differently. Everyone responds differently to emotional situations. So, I disagree with "who would deal with a r@pist alone", many would and many have.
@Haru "a normal person would call the police or break the phone", it seems you are applying your own hypothetical actions onto the story in a "what if" idea. You consider yourself a normal person, you consider what you do and how you act to be "normal", right? Well, for better or worse, everyone's perspective of "normal" varies. In these situations especially, where the abuser has blackmail, many actually do "deal with a r@pist alone" because they are afraid of being "exposed". Everybody responds to trauma differently so don't expect everyone to fit your "normal" mold and be like you. Humans are unpredictable, keep that in mind.
@JAYj no the normal view isnt different for everyone there is a a specific meaning for normal, people just have opinions on it. Right now im talking about what would be normal to do? I dont get why ure trying to normalize dealing with such a thing alone, being alone in such situations would bring more harm i was stating in my comment that its so unrealistic and the plot is so dumb and forced the writer KNEW they cant just make the whole point of manhwa about grape and stockholm syndrome so they added some random plot
Spoiler!
about the ML getting sa as a 14 year old and then decided to turn it into revenge

So instead of saying "everyone handles it differently!" And trying to say people about the people aka real victims who did reckless stuff do their stuff differently and basically saying its common even tho it shouldn't be, just be normal and say its not okay. My comment would be a potential tip for future victims which i hope anyone reading this wont be one. There are alot of ways to deal with this situation with police private

@Haru "And trying to say people about the people aka real victims who did reckless stuff do their stuff differently and basically saying its common even tho it shouldn't be"

??? 💀💀💀

" trying to say people about the people " - Haru

I'm sorry, I don't understand your counterargument very well, but I'll reply to the best of my ability.

To clarify, I do not think SA in any form is "okay" or "normal", if you'd like me to phrase it that way. It is illegal and wrong, of course. But this is where things get a little tricky, okay?

Everyone views "normal" differently. To every action there is a reaction, and some people react in ways YOU think aren't "normal".
@JAYj stop😔 i was stressing trying to type the sentences properly i hope u can still get what im saying.
