@Papyta what are you talking about also, they made a deal together where does it say that he made a bet with someone to approach her?

@K In the second chapter it's not clearly stated but that's what it's about, so even though they made a deal, we know she has feelings for him and wooing her is a personal challenge for him which as nothing to do with the deal of acting as a couple in public at least at the very beginning of the story

@Papyta u might be right but i wonder if he really still is on that bet.. it hasnt been stated in so long and he is showing genuine care for her since the contract.. we'll see maybe everyone is js getting fooled by his a**
