If you actually cared about this you would read it on webtoon, where the author actually gets paid🤷

Yupp, you're absolutely right - if you're a millionare. If you're not, welll...

don't get me wrong, of course artist should get paid (and paid WELL) for their work, I'm an artist too, I know how it works. But still, in reality, it's just almost impossible even with a good salary to really pay for all the BL you read - especially if you have to pay for every chapter you read. And I can tell you, most of us already pays a lot for other stuffs like netflix, spotify, youtube, patreon, etc, whatever we use, becaue literally everything is a subscription nowadays, plus, there are the necessary softwares depends on our work or hobby, like ps, the adobe-family, cloud services, video editors, AI stuffs, etc.

1-5-10 dollars are not that much money, but you have to multiple it several times anyway, and that could sum a fat bill... I mean, even if you forget about the expensive streamings and stuffs,  and focus only at the BL world - did you ever counted how many BL-s are you reading? I bet it's not only one or two, but 10-20-30 or more at the same time. And sometimes you join in late when the story has 20-50-60 chapters already...), and BAMM you're already at 100+ bucks in just a month so... Trust me, you don't even want to know how much money you spend on these exactly. Or how much you should spend if you really keep the rules that no piracy, and you pay every single artist and services you use.:P

With all the supposedly supported artists and necessary services, it's thousand of dollars each months. Easily.

It's just simply not realistic you pay that much (especially not for teens who are the main target for most BL-s.)

@GigaReck

...That wasn't even the question...

You statement was just stupid, since it's nothing to do with care about the artist income.

@Nickname You're speaking nonsence, If you want to support the author READ AT WEBTOON. It's free, the author gets paid through ads, or if people want to pay for early access. And the manhwa get's pushed to more people on the app. What's hard to understand?
@GigaReck

Your lack of understanding the situation. That's what's so hard...

Read a fuc*** comment before you reply.

@Nickname Man, shut you bi*** a** up. I've read your paragraph, and im still correct.

mf talking about some "netfix subscribtion" 💀🤣
@GigaReck i read his/her whole essay. Could have summarized it in 1 paragraph. 😂😂😂

Anyways, just letting you know you are right.
@Make it make sense   neither of you understood even it was an essay, do you really think you would have a chance if it's even shorter? Loooool :D:D:DDDDDDDDDD
@GigaReck

it's NOT frree if it has ADS.

if I have to explain that, then you're really hopeless....

@Nickname bi*** i am not stupid.

"I support paying artists fairly but think its unrealistic it is for most fans—especially teens—to afford everything. Contents often charging per chapter and readers following multiple series, adds up. Combine that with subscriptions to platforms like Netflix, Patreon, and essential tools for work or hobbies, and monthly expenses can reach hundreds or even thousands. It's not about refusing to pay, but about how unsustainable the current system is for the average person"

Am i right? This what you meant?

But guess what, in the REAL WORLD these artists gotta make a living and most solely rely on their work to live. AND GUESS WHAT: YOU are the BEGGAR. What the fu** do you want? Give you free stuff from work that requires blood and sweat. WITH NO ADS EVEN?

You are the one who can not understand.  Sit the fu** down.
