@You are gay Ppl with retinal degeneration have their centre of vision blurred or their vision is just wavy or has blind spots, so while she can't see him properly, his image in her eyes is distorted. And he's prolly the only person she calls since she has no one else and memorised how to get on the phone which isnt a suprise considering she's a psychopath and considering her knowledge from the beginning, she does have high intelligence and it wouldn't be hard to believe that she can memorise smth like that
