@slashslash He was good at one time, however it's hard to tell if he can really be called good or bad anymore.  He's basically a lower g.od at this point with a goal of saving the world.  Nobody can really audit his morality at this point since you'd need to be able to fully understand the reasoning behind everything that he's done so far.  He's also fully insane as you might expect from having to repeat so many timelines so many times.
