@Born for Dooshik An MC can be realistic and still be unlikable, hateable, or even trash. Just because a character is realistic doesnt mean people have to like them. Even in movies/art, rapists or criminals can be portrayed realistically, but that doesnt justify liking them simply for their realism. The same principle applies here. Being realistic doesnt automatically equate to being likable, which is why people are hating the MC and they are right to do so.

As for me supposedly wanting pathetic crybabies as MC or saints, I never said that. However, that doesn’t mean I have to like cunning, manipulative or obsessive MC's either. There are plenty of MC's who are neither cunning, manipulative, obsessive nor saints/crybabies. They can be simple, straightforward and have self respect. Try reading some good manhwas where neither the leads are toxic nor pathetic crybabies, maybe then you’ll understand what I mean.
Just because I don’t like a cunning, manipulative or obsessive main character doesn’t mean Im a fan of crybaby ones either.
