Get off your high horse. What an absolute hypocrite. If you can enjoy it, so can any other gender. Why are "girls" the only target in your verbal diarrhoea. Good content is good content. BL or otherwise. Whether anyone decides to read the sweetest , most innocent of BLs or the most mind numbing sm**, its none of your da** business. Thanks.

But don't you think and believe there is a difference between reading for sake of story between two people in love and reading for sake of love very specifically between two men? If I have to make a very crude and I apologize beforehand, a very rude and uncalled for comparison, it often times than not feels the same way as males fetishisize lesbian couples. Only difference is females won't ask a gay couple to have threesome with them. I'm not saying former is at same level as later. Indeed former is worst of the worst homophobic sh** one can go through. But later is not far off from it.
I would not stop anyone from reading anything they wish to read. I just wish people would think more throughly how their comments, actions and thoughts affects others. First all you can't automatically assume that people or "women" read BL just for the sm** and s** scenes. They can read a BL without knowing that s** are in the story. You can't just call women fetishist just for reading something that they feel comfortable with reading. Don't assume that everyone is like that because in the end it can offend everyone who sees your comment.
Not all females but some females. Mhmm it seems similar right? I have nothing against females or their reading habits. Having a diverse reading habit and being knowledgeable is a good trait nothing against that.
But seriously am I the only one seeing a constant trend? Why does anything reach the point where it's cursed out in public? Everything starts from a small group of people liking something, marketers realize there is market for it, they market it doing their job, more people are exposed to it regardless of its content. More people like it, marketers realize it has more value and publicise it more and more without regards of ethics or even responsibility of providing correct information. And consumers use and or consume product without realizing it can be considered bad for the source of original inspiration. Yes lgbtq getting publicity is good, but perhaps I'm being a worry wart but endless publicity of something and consumption of said thing without conscious knowledge of why and whether it's harmful to oneself or source is how topics reach the point where they have to addressed on large scale.
