okay, so i have a theory! since we already established that hyeonseo is a little cvnt, i think once he returns and learns of the engagement and the kind of luxury that comes with it, he'll drop that cheater like trash and will want to switch with hyeondo immediately.
the alpha will have already gotten used to hyeondo's pheromones though (or just straight up gotten obsessed for other reasons) to the point that hyeonseo's pheromones do absolutely nothing for him. 🤭
