I have to agree with all the other commenters, ever since the demon school arc ended it was pretty much just shallow fighting with some plot connection and world building here and there, but now hes literally stronger than everyone currently alive, and just ragdolled his biggest enemy with ease while also holding a core in his hand, so he won only one hand. I feel bad but the story really has lost the plot, and if they want to give him another enemy the story is prob just gonna make his enemy Buddha or smth, but most likely they'll do some stupid a** pull to get sword g** out of here and give him stupid amounts of luck so he recovers and then appears again end of story.
Yeah... this fell off a long time ago, like we have side characters that got more character development and story than the MC currently, and said side character is just used as a convenient power up for MC
