okay so based on this chapter, yooseung was basically trying to protect seunghyeon all this time so that the latter can do anything that he wants to do. BUT, his ways of doing that makes seunghyeon feels suffocated. firsly hm probably bcs of the misunderstanding that seunghyeon eavesdropped in the earlier part, where he heard yooseung saying that he cant do anything/study well (not exactly sure abt this part).
yooseung probably doesnt want seunghyeon to be the victim of their parents high expectations and pressure, so, he sort of like volunteered to be the one carrying the burden instead, so that they only focus on him and let seunghyeon be. the thing is, yooseung means well, but his method of controlling seunghyeon's life makes seunghyeon suffer, It even leads to to the point where they fight and it strains their relationship even more.
as the eldest sibling, this chapter hits too close to home. not because i was/am in the situation as them but i get the sentiment behind what yooseung is trying to do. all he wants is to protect his precious little brother and give him whatever he wants in life but yeah things dont work out the way he wants them, mainly because of his own actions. but ofc their parents were also mainly responsible for how things turned out between them.
urghh siblings misunderstanding hurts me so much i hate it here ㅠㅠ anyway that's just my humble 2 cents and my interpretation might be slightly off and one-sided(?). i hope these two can resolve their conflict and reconcile. their relationship may/may not be as close as it used to be when they were young (pls im still mourning this cuz they were deadass adorable as heck) but well at least years of unresolved conflict between them is finally over.
