@veronica I agree I think that’s the thing nowadays good positive endings are the usual route although I like them, I feel like a tragic more traumatic end to some stories would be great too and optimally I’d find them much meaningful, at first I didn’t really see the last 10 or so chapters as him seeking love but more so absolute control of her life but I get where everyone’s coming from now when they say that it’s a bit odd he wanted to understand and reach kijeongs soul and devotion and it almost came off as seeking romantic attention which is completely preposterous for his character where he seemed to desperately seek a semblance of normalcy in his relationships it seemed very rushed and frantic too how fast the plot went by,I feel like most morally grey characters, authors don’t tend to make the main character because they want to focus on a more positive closure regardless since some people just want a good toxic romance at times which I find ridiculous that people tried to normalize and appropriate inseops behaviour as romantic and “understanding love”
I'm VERY picky with my manhwas/mangas it's very bad I know 😔
If you have any manhwa/manga recommendations feel free to share x
I sometimes comment and may be very opinionated
