@Dodo Yes, but he’s miserable because he chooses to be miserable! His whole life, he’s chosen misery. He chose not to have friends, and he chose to see Maxi as this fragile porcelain doll when she isn’t one and doesn’t want to be treated like one. After reading Riftan’s POV, I honestly started hating him.
