@THE uncle if you say this for blossom of the night then you can find another excuse for other manwhas cause wdym child marriage wasn’t encouraged in blossom of the night when a 20 years old married a 5 years old like ? Like the author could’ve not put an age gap so big but yall didn’t say a thing and just appreciated it
@Minmin the thing is, there aren’t any excuses for many different manwhas. The stories that include r*e, abuse, etc, are all unacceptable. Despite the story’s backlash, the author doesn’t cancel it like Jaxx did due to the fact r*e is normalised in BL stories. This just leads to a whole different topic… the reason for blossoms of the white night to be appropriate is because it never glorified child marriage sexually, romantically etc. Again, it was included for historical accuracy. It still earned criticism regardless.
