Spoiler!
Ruby continues to relax in the hot spring. She leans back, enjoys the warm water, and feels all her stress disappear. The peaceful place, the steam, and the gentle surroundings make her sleepy and calm. Ruby remembers the past. She was tired, dirty, and uncomfortable in her heavy clothes during the hot summer. Wanting to clean herself, she quietly left the camp alone at night and went into the forest. Using magic, she protected herself, but soon she heard someone coming. It was Khalid. He surprised her, and they talked playfully. Ruby felt safe with him and relaxed. Khalid noticed that Ruby was hurt, but she tried to avoid worrying him. She explained she had been exploring and already used magic to heal herself. Still feeling uncomfortable and sweaty, Ruby wanted to wash. Khalid led her to a small lake. Under the moonlight, Ruby happily jumped into the water and cleaned herself, while Khalid stayed nearby to watch over her. Afterward, Ruby sat beside him and shared her feelings. She said she wanted to stay with him, but deep inside, she knew he had his own path and responsibilities. She didn’t want to hold him back, even though she cared about him.
I like to post spoilers for the stories I find interesting because I don't have much time to read novel due to busy schedule you will find me in most romantic historical manhwa comment sections

Spoiler!
Khalid didn’t fully understand her thoughts and seemed upset. To lighten the mood, Khalid suddenly jumped into the lake, and Ruby followed him. They laughed, played, and splashed in the water together under the bright full moon. For a moment, everything felt peaceful and happy. But at the end, Ruby started to feel confused, as if she was forgetting something important about her purpose and the dark mage she was trying to find.

Ruby accidentally fell asleep. When she woke up, it had started to rain. She realized she had only slept for a short time, but the weather had suddenly become dark and gloomy. Even though the warm water felt nice, she decided she should probably get out soon. While she was still in the water, she heard something moving in the bushes nearby. At first, she thought it might be her companion Khalid returning, but the sounds seemed strange. Suddenly, someone burst out of the bushes. Ruby was surprised and quickly covered herself, confused about how anyone could get there since the entrance was guarded. The woman spoke, and her voice sounded familiar to Ruby. As they looked at each other, they both seemed shocked, as if they recognized one another.

Because of the rain, the woman’s brown hair started to wash away, revealing bright pink hair underneath. Ruby realized the woman had been disguising herself. She remembered hearing about someone like this before and figured out the woman’s identity was Rosetta Jebert, the Duchess. Rosetta admitted she had hidden her identity before for her own reasons. Ruby felt dizzy as she stood up, and Rosetta quickly helped her out of the water so she wouldn’t fall. She guided Ruby to a dry place and told her to get dressed.
And
Spoiler!
Even though Rosetta acted calm and helpful, Ruby was still confused and surprised by everything that had just happened, especially meeting Rosetta again in such a strange situation. But Ruby feels nervous and uneasy. She tries to avoid attention and even looks for a way to escape. When Rosetta starts asking questions, especially about Ruby’s identity Ruby panics inside. She denies being “Rubian,” but her reaction makes things worse, and she ends up running away in fear.

After running, Ruby hides in an alley. She feels overwhelmed, ashamed, and confused. She realizes that her actions made her look guilty, even though she wasn’t ready to reveal the truth. She regrets not staying calm or handling the situation better. At the same time, she is scared that if she had stayed, Rosetta might have discovered her secret anyway.
Ruby starts blaming herself, calling herself foolish for lying and running away. She knows people hate lies, and she feels especially bad because she deceived Rosetta, who trusted her. She wonders what to do next whether to run away with Khal, go back and face the truth, or leave everything behind. No option feels right, and she feels stuck. She also worries about Khal, who she left behind and who is probably looking for her. Thinking about everything, her lies, her fear, and the possible consequences makes her feel even more anxious. She begins to regret everything and feels like she should have stayed in the background instead of getting involved.

In the end, Ruby is filled with fear and sadness. She feels like everything is falling apart and doesn’t know what decision to make. Deep down, she is terrified of going back to her past, especially the orphanage, and wishes she could escape from all her problems.
