@kali you're right, actually they've never left square one. It's just that ironically they used to communicate more when he was courting her and she was heartbroken after Mincheol left. I don't know if they both assume it's temporary, to me it looks like Tahea's been waiting for her to rely completely on him.
As for Haesoo, I think she wants to commit to a serious relationship but her fear of abandonment is blocking her.
