@lewicy Almost every single action manga from the beginning of time does this trope, from dragon ball, naruto, bleach, fairy tail, demon slayer, jjk etc. Every single one of them after getting beaten near to death, only suddenly do they super saiyan, hidden jutsu, bankai, etc. At this point, you'd just have to accept it, lol.
