I didn't really read the story since I just skimmed through it, but what im getting is that mc is a abuse victim? yall complaining in comments about not standing up to your abuser is crazy. Someone in my family has given me trauma and when they yell at me I can't just suddenly stand up to them. They made me so I feel helpless and I can't do anything, but cry. It is not that easy to stand up to someone when they condition you to be timid or in his case doesn't listen no matter what you say. Didn't mc tell ml that he doesn't want to see him anymore? Yes.
