@Mrs.kang also there's an event when Kalian gave Arsene money to take the mages to dinner so they went to a tavern,Arsene not liking alcohol went home early so the rest got drunk then they got into a fight with normal people and then they blew up the tavern/ then they got arrested and taken to the city guards and they claimed that their actions is not related to VALKAN - so when the report reached Kalian he was pis*** for the same reason when kyrie took the beating of Beurisan knights while Arsene was rewarded for blowing up Gray's carriage- so Kalian went to wilhelm Hall and leashed his killing intent on those mages they were suffocated by fear it was so intense that Allan felt it in his office in Arpeia palace and Plants felt it so he left his room and rushed to wilhelm hall then he stood in front of the mages to shield them from Kalian because plants is also a reason why Kalian is angry because as deputy commander Plants even though he cares about Valkan he still pretends otherwise so Kalian wants him to take responsibility for those under him so anyway Kalian (Bern) is actually frightening I wish we see more of his previous life cause he was unhinged so Chase actually told plants that the current Kalian (bern) is DULL
