her playing dumb kinda irks me, like stop you just look stupid. also the way she and her dad acted in front of an emperor, okay its a story but can you not break my immersion, you'd get your head chopped off in real life in this kind of setting. i hate when authors can't commit to the time period they use, its so amateur
