Ok don't get me wrong I love this manga fo much I read it so many times
but is it just me or is this kind of weird how they become a couple..?

Yup! It is weird! If the Manga was longer than that, it could have been a little more structured and kind of "logical" or at least plausible or convincing, but it seems like a bad patchwork now. He may have presented the whole thing like broken pieces mending together, but you need a good glue and technique to do that, and there wasn't such things here
