i hope it's not just me that thinks this but i hope authors know that when they include r@pe in the relationship dynamic of their characters, their job becomes 10x harder. repairing any broken trust, healing from the violation to one's bodily autonomy, and managing to get together in a way that's not exhausting and perpetually abusive is a lot more difficult to write correctly than a healthy dynamic.
