Or the twins can change his mind, or the children of laranne or the twins or tia herself. They all have the same claim as bellsac. Actually it makes a lot more sense. There are plentyyy of good alternatives for Lombardi, and none for the emperor. Unless you want her to dump Pérez. Also, we already know she has at least 3 kids with Pérez thanks to the alternative wallpapers anyways

@CrowellA Its not an issue of Gallahan, its an issue of succession. Aside from him having no interest in ruling the family, hes also straight up said he has no intention to have anymore kids. Meaning even IF he decides to become heir, if something happens to him before Tias child/children come of age, rights immediately pass to the next in line.
The twins aren't gonna change their mind, and its not really something she can afford to leave up to chance either way.
Larannes children are likely going to take claim to property/titles in the East. Moreover, their claim would be significantly smaller than Bellesac or Astelius (same with Tias children unless shes heir).
I dont really care about her dumping Perez or not. My point is that Tias priority is and has always been allowing Lombardi to thrive, and thats very difficult to do as strictly an empress. Why on earth would she leave her family's future in the hands of someone who isnt interested in the title or prosperity just to be empress???
