@Kaiceez the sad part is how it's in soooo many books and people gloss over the r*pe and the authors keep forcing it into the book like that's supposed to make their books better, when in fact it makes people want to drop them altogether
@Kudo As a writer, I myself am astonished because I don't understand this pattern. I see it in so many manga and Manwha, and I'm starting to wonder if the east Asians are a little looney.
@Exterminate As a fellow Author/Writer it's the same thing for me,I've dropped so many books because it's been grape scene after grape scene 🤦🏽♀️ I don't understand why it's so common,my Bl mentions it one time, and it has nothing to do with the main characters plus I give out a trigger warning.
I even advise readers to skip it if it becomes too much to them
@Kudo Honestly, adding grape to the story and acting like it's not necessarily grape is the even more insane part 💀 I've read TOO many that do this kind of thing. At this point, it should even have its own genre.[Pls, I'm joking], cuz' it's just infuriating.
@Kaiceez take reverse thinking as an example, people glaze it over the characters and the ml and mc and artstyle, but all it has is ra**, trust broken, ra**, gang****, manipulating, forcing over and over its so common nowadays
@Exterminate I'm right there with you,I've lost track of how many books I've dropped because of the constant grape scenes back to back,I'm starting to think that East Asians are obsessed with it,and it's very concerning, because I'm a victim of s'a and I've been through that my entire life from age 10 -to age 14-15 so essentially I've been victim for years, and even now I'm struggling to work through it as an adult
