@LadyManhwa He came from a Murim world. That kind of thing is anything anyone past the first couple levels can do. Qi/energy disrupting and channel-blocking toxins are all over the place in those worlds. Sometimes the pill or potions is even created to be scaled to the target's current level of refinement. And Roman lived to a grand old age in such a world.
