@and then they fuc*** lol I just realized...even if it's not an analogy to rice, asians consider having whiter skin is a sign of wealth and easy life because historically the peasants had darker skin because they worked in the fields all day while the nobles stayed inside and had whiter skin so again, what he's saying is that he needs to "fatten Qin up and make sure he doesnt have to go through a lot of hardship".
