@tite ni toji I've about a million theories on wtf is going on.
My first theory is that Bada IS NOT a player but an npc who became sentient who was driven into insanity and Seongchan became sentient because of the system/video game creator because they wanted to help or fix Bada. Everyone else is player BESIDES BADA. The trick to escaping isn't beating the game, but IMAGINING what the world is like post-game. Also would explain why Bada can't remember anything about his life outside of the game. He never had one.
