Bruh i hate how naive the mc is being in earlier chapters, now obviously he fell into the trap and slowly n gradually being manipulated. FIRST LINE OF DEFENSE IS STRANGER DANGERRR!! If the husband is against it, then there must be a reason. Like why would you lower your guard in the first place, i get it but like they took away your husband and YOU DONT FIGHT HE** AND BACK TO SEE HIM?!?!? BE WITH HIM?!? 

Man author better cook up something good with his character growth, rn mc's slacking...
