@Beeto 1 he wants to, 2 she can see invisible enemies, 3 he seems to feel comfortable talking to her unlike most people so she can do the talking to the lesser mobs for him.

@Lenixia Remember, he has mages who can use light magic.. He could have easily brightened the entire place up..
