@sac_fid That's correct, people's words can manipulate and make things sound or feel a certain way, for example if a man were to lament a person in their deathbed but said sentiment was not real, it'd make others feel sad, then yes those feelings can be transmitted, the problem in here is that you're letting yourself be fooled and being manipulated, someone can easily tell if someone is lying and trying to manipulate others in feeling something else, anger is also a easy feeling to manipulate like saying someone did something they didn't and act angry, they can either act angry or act sad, an easy way to take notice of if they're lying is if they've had a problem with said person or if they've done something to them and in spite they're just visiting them to sc*** around their life, a history check will prove some points and people's nature, ask someone close to them if they're spiteful or hold grudges, evidently you'll ask yourself if they still hold a grudge, if it's fake sadness then just ask how close they were, if they saw each other and talked only once every year or so once then you'd ask yourself if they're actually that close, granted distance is a b*tch but time can be spared and that's when you know they care.
