@strawberry pie he was planning to Divorce her after emperor demise & emperor died unlucky the next day. & after sometime later I get a thought that maybe he sleep with her because that was their wedding night & if he did not spend that night with her than her honor would fall. Because 1st night is important for king - queen

@Calypso Like, there's really no reason to. MLs doing the bare fcking minimum always get so much praise. If this were an FL who strung an ML along for years and divorced and left him hanging with no explanations, we'd get "So what, she shouldn't blame him for what his father did." But since it's an ML doing the abandoning, it becomes understandable and justified. Fck that. Kaizen's still foul for that. If he really thought she was aware of her father's crimes, he should've just killed her. But even he doesn't believe that, that's why he made her Empress again.

And after all these years making her suffer, he still couldn't give her any answers.

@Anthy I'm not saying he is right, I'm saying this is what happens in novel. I was also thinking why he fu** her if he was going to leave her but in novel he did express that how 1st night is important so he spend with her. & he was going to Divorce her when emperor would die but it just happen to be next day. I'm not defending him, if I were in her place I would never ever return to him even though he did it for his so called love. I'm just this what happened that night. But he didn't love her that time, he think she is just pretending to be a white flower. So I'm not in side of this fuc*** male lead
