at this point, MC is just brain dead. 1st off, a lot of people would still be alive if he just killed the hero and the other bas**** in the 1st cave. I get not wanting to cross a line but how about pulling his head out of his a** and literally just finishing off guys who have said multiple times, every time he left them alive, that they would kill them. At the very least, make the hero a cripple so he knows his place.

It's not a good image to go around crippling people... Also our MC is the good guy, so he actually cares about his image.
Also much more than that, it's much more taxing to kill someone you know than someone you don't. Which is why he was avoiding fighting his classmates and killed the aggressive one because he was gonna get himself killed anyway and ended him early to stop his reign of terror and stop the pain of being consumed by skills.

@Nexusind i 100% agree with you but in this type of manga where the mc is so powerful if he did things the smart way he would be to strong and the story would progress to quickly and it seems like the stupid annoying blonde hero is going to be the main villian but thats just my personal idea i dont really know whats gonna happen
