I think I might have a theory on why men can fall pregnant in Hosik and Seungyeon's current timeline. You see in their past lives these two were inlove with each other but couldn't be together because they were men and Seungyeon being a master needed an heir to continue his lineage. If you look correctly in the chapter when Seungyeon's wife was introducing the child to Seungyeon, he was happy but not completely because that child was his and another person and when Hosik held the baby he looked so naural and that broke Seungyeon's heart because he wanted that child to belong to him and Hosik. I think that them being reincarnated again, their 'Creator' wanted them to have a happy ending than the one they had and so altered man's dna to be able to bear children so Seungyeon and Hosik can have their little family without any obstacles. Because without this alteration they would be forced to be apart again because two men can't have a baby and also with these manhwas I doubt they know what surrogacy is.
