Ok so basically the blue-haired kid is the son of Elise and Rag(ris? I forgot the rest of his name). Rag and Elise thought the kid died in a warehouse fire but, it turns out that the emperor actually killed the kid to make him into a chimera since he wanted Rag and Elise to suffer (and cr**, I have no clue how that guy's mind works he's too contradictory.). And when Rag was working under the emperor, he saw a little boy in the dungeons but, he didn't think much of it and ignored him but, now he found out that boy was his son and the emperor had turned him into a chimera. When Rag asked Gillian to revert the chimera (who was still in monster form) to his original form, he saw his son was the beast he had been fighting. He found out that Gillian had known that and was absolutely furious. Rag then tried to kill him but, like I guess they talked it out (or something the story didn't specify, it's probably going to be a big reveal later though). After healing up their wounds Valetta and Reinhardt went to the place where she specified Rag to meet her in a letter she had sent out earlier to him through the mint green (I forgot his name) duke. Valetta probably knew something was up which was she asked Reinhardt to promise her he wouldn't do anything rash. When they reached the meeting place they were slightly alarmed/surprised to find themselves being ambushed. Rag sealed Reinhardt in chain-bound barrier magic and Valetta in stuck-in-place magic (I don't what you call that immovable magic? Idk). Rag then gets Gillian to get out some weird hot branding thing (Similar to those used during real-world slavery.) with an alchemy magic circle/rune on it and puts it on her while this is being done, Reinhardt is being petrified into stone because of some magic cast by Rag.
