I have a feeling that that the magic that has protected her and the travel back in time were done by their previous life baby. And maybe, MAYBE, if she already reached her third trimester, the baby could somehow survived the incident with the trash emperor, and the baby was raised by her oh-so-great-aunt and became the greatest magician of all time. So yeah, MAYBE. 😅😅
