@Delilah Then...
Spoiler!
There, at one point, Sang Woo talks with Jihye, the girl who had a crush on him. They talk about what love should be, and Jihye ends up making him understand that love doesn't have to be utilitarian, it's not necessary to procreate and therefore to be a woman with a man. Indeed, love can just be funny and nice, like playing a video game, which he already likes without finding a utilitarian role in it. This comparison makes him accept what he feels because he understands that this isn't the first time that he's outside the semantic system pre-written by society.
Jihye's advice, finally, is to talk about it with his partner. To communicate. But Sang Woo doesn't intend to follow this advice haha.

Indeed, Sang Woo decides to give up everything with Jae Young. No love for them. Even accepting and understanding his own feelings, the problem of leaving for the United States remains impossible to solve in his mind, so the end of their relationship obviously seems to be the only solution.

Later, Jae Young comes to ask him for help to move, and there Sang Woo accepts but ends up freaking out because he finds it really hateful and cruel of him to ask him to help him to leave. In reality, Jae Young wants to move into Sang Woo's apartment by surprising him by going there without telling him right away.

At a moment, Sang Woo can no longer take the situation, he flees by jumping into a taxi. Jae Young chases after him by car through the city to the sea.

There, he convinces Sang Woo to get out of the cab and join him. Sang Woo then tells him again that he has feelings for him. Jae Young tells him it's okay, Sang Woo is ready, he can confess. So he admits, he loves him too. ♥️
