It's not due to romance he gave it away, he said it himself that she's the only person in the company that looked out for him. It said nothing about him having romantic feelings for her!
Bro that girl is the only one who cares for him can't you see everyone in that messed up place didn't even care when he's about to die? He sacrificed his safety for their sake but those dam ãss fvckers didn't even say thank you
