i know he's alive, in the start of the story they told us jian yi was kidnapped bc his FATHER wanted to see him, he probably faked his death for some reason

Oh how I wish that's true but it could also be that it was his grandpa instead. In any case if he pretended he was dead to Jian Yi's mom he's the worse guy in the world and doesn't deserve to be Jian Yi's father.
i agree, that would be too mean bc she was all alone and had to raise jian yi by herself, but considering he's on mafia stuff it's something he couldve done... idk maybe in on denial cuz the poor jian yi never even met him 😭
