why even compare ao-ashi to blue lock 
Better is subjective. Really 2 different kinds of story. Blue lock is similar to Demon slayer, stream lined into constant action vs world building and character development. I am kind of tired of the love triangle story or former glory flashbacks but def enjoy the story.
@Mr.Projectpokemon You're the kind of person that needs to see both of these manga as entirely different products.
One is written with some measure of education and is given slower episodes to develop an emotional drama.
The other is a hype train, rollercoaster of a series that hardly ever slows down for very long.
They're both fantastic.
