i keep thinking about why the tree sap didnt affect her before but it did while she was freya.
i am of the belief that freya is her original body and the prince did some sort of ritual or black magic to transfer her soul and "kidnap" her.
therefore, maybe the tree sap didnt work before because it was not her own body ..?
