Well one thing is for sure. The aunt love seul-gi in her own twisted way. I think in the end she doesn't have any intention to harm him, well atleast killing him...

@Dobhakun Dobhakun She seems to want to live vicariously through Seul-Gi more than she wants him to truly be happy. I imagine she felt othered and an outcast by people around her and so when the chance came she cose to raise Seul-Gi by "freeing" him of the expectations of normal people so he could reign like a king, a bit like she did over the underworld.
@Dobhakun Dobhakun it's the same way a mother or father will push their kids to do sports they never could, regardless of the child's feelings or desires. And other than being straight up evil for cursing and trying to kill her own sister, sure we could call it love, just a selfish greedy love.
