Why is Jeju Island so popular to be used in manhwa? Doesn't Korea have other islands as well? Why this one in particular? Can anybody tell me?

@Owen probably bcuz of solo leveling ngl, esp w the ant war ish and beru. I vaguely remember, I haven't watched in a while now
@Owen It's a pretty important island to them, it pops up in tonnes of novels set in and around Korea. I do think the popularity of a few other works featuring it plays in as well, but I'd guess it's a lot to do with history and tradition.
@𝕮𝑧𝑒𝑐ℎ jeju island is famous for tourism. Not just because they mentioned the island in the solo leveling. The island is pretty. There also a lot of films and drama about the island
