...did they--? No, maybe I'm misremembering. My favorite part in the entire series should be right here and I can't tell if they actually CUT IT OUT or if it was just somewhere else and we'll get the reveal later... anyway, peak as always. (I should note that with any adaptation, the story gets rearranged so it's nothing new, I'm just particular about this one specifically because it's my all time favorite lol))

i didn't read the novel, but i remember people saying that he would declare himself as J after killing the monster, which didn't seem to happen in this chapter

@Lua Yup yup yup, it's a pivotal moment (pun intended) for everyone so I'm upset it's not here and we jumped straight into the aftermath in the dungeon. Anyway, I'll go back and reread in case I do have it wrong
